Strengthening shared identity at the FEIBP Congress 2025

From October 8 to 11, it was that time of year again: the European Brushware Federation (FEIBP) met for its annual congress on the stunning Italian island of Ischia.

This year's event was held under the motto “No Federation is an Island” – a sentiment that shaped the entire program. In addition to informative presentations and...

productive working groups, team spirit and community were strengthened through activities such as sailing, pizza making, and a LEGO Serious Play workshop.

Exploring the island's landmark, the Castle of Aragon, together created collective experiences and drew parallels between a fortress and a federation: centuries-old alliances, resilience, and a shared history characterize both institutions.

The crowning highlight this year was once again the ever-popular GALA dinner, which was held under the motto “Italian Glamour 50s and 60s.”

As in previous years, our young managing directors greatly appreciated the intensive exchange with familiar and new faces and look forward to further cooperation within the federation.

Successful at the B2Run 2025 in Freiburg

This year, we were once again “active together” at the B2Run in Freiburg.

11 HATHO employees took to the starting line and confidently completed the 5 km.

Among them was our deputy head of department Montage Filmon Teklebrhan-Berhe, who is a professional runner in addition to his work.

Successful visit to the world's leading trade fair IDS 2025 in Cologne:

We can look back on a successful participation at the IDS 2025.

With 135,000 visitors from 156 countries and an increase in visitor numbers of more than 15 per cent, IDS Cologne is the focal point for the dental industry every two years.

We were also able to broaden our horizons during the trade fair and incorporate new ideas directly into our work.

Visit to the Badische Zeitung in Freiburg

This year our employees had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at the Badische Zeitung (a regional newspaper) in Freiburg.
During a very interesting guided tour of the press house, we visited the in-house printing department, the shipping hall and the museum. From the first issue of this regional newspaper after the war to...

today's modern newspaper printing, we got insights into the most important milestones of a newspaper and of the company history.
At the end of the tour while looking for a suitable photographer for a group photo we were even lucky to be photographed personally by the editor-in-chief, Mr. Thomas Fricker.
Filled with new impressions, we were able to end the exciting and eventful afternoon with dinner together.

Valuable exchange at the FEIBP Congress 2024

From October 9th to 12th, 2024, the management of HATHO took part in the 64th Congress of the European Brushware Federation FEIBP in Ibiza.

Team Spirit at the B2Run 2024 in Freiburg

“Active together”: this year, 20 HATHO employees participated in the B2Run in Freiburg. This equates to more than a quarter of the workforce which took part - something we are very proud of!
Together with 11,500 starters from 533 companies, 5 km were successfully completed and the atmosphere at the B2run was thoroughly enjoyed.

Successes at Cross Country Championships

Our employee Filmon Teklebrhan-Berhe (athletics club LAC Freiburg) took 2nd place in cross-country running (9.7 km - 28:31 min.) at the German Championships in Perl, Germany on November 25th, 2023 and thus received a ticket for the European Cross-Country Championships.
Despite an injury, he took part in the European Cross Country...

Running Championships in Brussels, Belgium on December 10, 2023. He wanted to ensure that the DLV team (German Athletics Association) definitely made it into the team rankings, as another runner had already dropped out. Under these difficult conditions he managed to finish the race successfully.
We warmly congratulate him on his fantastic successes!!

B2Run in Freiburg

Two of our employees took part in this year's B2Run in Freiburg on June 23, 2023 with great success:
Sean Kenny, Junior Director, and Filmon Teklebrhan-Berhe, Deputy Department Supervisor.
In addition to his work at HATHO, Mr. Teklebrhan-Berhe is a professional runner and took part in the German championship over 5,000 m in 2022.
